2017 Race Information

PARKING: Parking is available throughout the neighborhood just South and North of the Armory, along Kishwaukee Drive and High Street. Parking is also available in the park just to the East of the finish line.

RACE MAP: There will be clocks every mile. Miles are also marked on the street and on road signs.

CHIPS & BIBS: We are chip timed by Lakeshore Athletics, with ChronoTrack Timing System. The chips will be on the back of each bib, which are provided by Dick Pond Athletics.

T-SHIRT: Race T-Shirts for the first 2,000 registered runners.

RESTROOMS: Port-o-lets are just outside the Armory on the west side of the building. Restrooms are provided by Waste Management.

FIRST AID: Sycamore Fire EMT personnel will be stationed near the finish line and will trail final runner.

WATER: Water is available pre-race inside Armory, on the course at the 2 and 4-mile markers, and at the finish line.

GEAR CHECK: A van marked “Gear Check” and “Sweat Van” will be located near the starting line near the entrance to the Armory. The van will be parked at the finish line for gear claim. All items must be claimed by 11:30 a.m.

RESULTS: Complete race results will be available online at pumpkinrunsycamore.com by 1p.m. on race day. However, if you want to wait in line at one of the computers to get results, you can. You just need your bib number and a little patience.

STRETCHING: Post-race stretching will be available near the finish line, compliments of Northern Rehab Physical Therapy Specialists.

AWARDS: Overall winners (first three male and female finishers) and all age division winners may pick up awards following the end of the race at the awards table in the Armory. You must have your bib to pick up the awards.

REFRESHMENTS: Fresh fruit, cookies, juices and bagels are available in the Armory following race provided by Hy-Vee. Also, Octoberfest beer will be available at the finish line for runners 21+.
