Our One Mile Fun Pumpkin Run is for all ages!
Different Starting Line! Same day, same start time, same finish line!
FUN RUN STARTING LINE @ Kingsway Drive and Route 64. Runners will head East into the park, past the tennis courts, around the pool, back to finish line! Walkers welcome but must line up in the back of the start corral. Follow PURPLE ARROWS. Strollers are allowed but anyone pushing a stroller must also start in the back of the pack.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION: Race Day registration is available in the Illinois National Guard Armory (516 East State Street) from 7:30 a.m. till 8:30 a.m. $25 for the Fun Run and $50 for the 10K (check, cash or CC)
PARKING: Parking is available throughout the neighborhood just South and North of the Armory (516 East State Street Sycamore), along Kishwaukee Drive and High Street. Parking is also available in the park just to the East of the finish line. Please be aware of Sycamore PD NO PARKING signs.
PACKET PICK UP – Available on Thursday and Friday (9a.m. to 4 p.m.) prior to race day at the Chamber Office 519 West State Street in Sycamore. Also available on race day from 7:30am to 8:30 am at the Illinois National Guard Armory, 516 East State Street Sycamore.
10K CHIPS & BIBS: We are chip timed by EnMotive. The chips will be on the back of each bib, which are provided by First National Bank.
FUN RUN BIBS: The Fun Run will not be timed, but custom bibs for each registrant.
10K LEGENDARY RACE SHIRT – Tech Race Shirts for the first 1,200 registered runners.
1 MILE FUN RUN RACE SHIRT – Custom short sleeve race shirt to first 150 registered runners.
10K STARTING LINE @ Kishwaukee Drive and Route 64. Runners will line up in the starting area according to pace: Faster runners (5:00 per mile) in the front and not-as-fast runners (12:00 per mile) in the back. Runners with strollers are welcomed but must start in the back of the pack, no exceptions. Follow ORANGE ARROWS and street markings.
RESTROOMS: Port-o-lets are just outside the Armory on the west side of the building. Restrooms are provided by Waste Management and along route, near mile 1, and near mile 5.
10K FIRST AID AND WATER at approximate miles 2.2 and 4.5. For safety, an ambulance follows the last runner and is placed at the finish line.
10K RACE ROUTE: There will be clocks every mile. Miles are also marked on the street and on road signs provided by Heartland Bank & Trust Company.
REFRESHMENTS: Once crossing the finish line racers are welcomed by wonderful volunteers who have prepared post-race refreshments, which are located in the National Guard Armory. Racers 21 and over are treated to ice cold beer.
